Cayenne Pepper – Known as a spice with a zing to it, many hot, spicy dishes contain cayenne pepper. Cayenne is known to relieve joint paint, as well as help digestion and increase fat burning metabolism by as much as 25%.

GingerEffective to treat motion sickness, Ginger can also be effective to help settle the stomach during morning sickness.

Cinnamon – Cinnamon is an excellent aid for diarrhea and upset stomachs. It can also give a boost your metabolism. Sprinkle it on your oatmeal to help rev up your body’s calorie-burning furnace for the day.

Garlic – Garlic can help keep cholesterol levels in check and decrease blood pressure. It’s also been shown to be helpful to those who suffer diabetes. However, if you’re on blood thinners, ask your doctor before adding this supplement to your diet.

Allspice – Allspice is a stimulant that can help relieve problems with indigestion and gas. It’s also an excellent addition to your diet to maintain healthy blood pressure and blood count.
