It’s a sunny August Sunflower free printable!

“Fairest of the months!
Ripe summer’s queen
The hey-day of the year
With robes that gleam with sunny sheen
Sweet August doth appear.”
~ R. Combe Miller

August Sunshine

It’s August and if you’re in the northern hemisphere, that means it’s hot and sunny, hot and rainy, or maybe hot and humid. Maybe it’s a combination. But whatever it is, it’s just all around hot.

Sweet August Printable

This August I found two quotes that spoke to me. It was hard to decide between them, so I didn’t! I chose one for my monthly printable (go here to download), and decided to create another as a bonus! I love R. Combe Miller‘s enthusiasm for ‘Sweet August’, and his description of ‘robes that gleam with sunny sheen’. I don’t know about you, but that perfectly describes a hot and sunny August day to me.
