Hello August!

Hey there, sultry, sunny, scorching August! It’s sunburn and flip-flops, lemonade and pool parties, hot-enough-for ya, August! The heat and everything that goes with it, good and not so good, is hitting us full on right now. August heat can be unrelenting, and anything that can give us a bit of refreshing coolness is welcome. So for my printable this month I thought I’d use this fun watermelon art, because it’s not summer until you’ve had at least one slice of this juicy summer fruit, don’t you think?

Juicy Summer Pleasures

I think my favorite part of this time of year are the warm nights. Once the sun goes down there’s a bit of relief and you can enjoy the evening (at least in my region of the U.S.) I’m seeing previews of Autumn and the other day some pumpkin something or other popped up in my Pinterest feed, but I want to stay in the moment just a while longer and enjoy this ripe summer season!
