As we head towards the Winter Solstice, we use light to shine our way through this dark time of year. Our celebrations glow with twinkling, flickering decorations to shine bright and carry us through these shortest of days.

Share Your Light

But there’s also another kind of light. I’m talking about the light within you. You have something unique to share with the world. Maybe you will impact only a very important few, or maybe you have something to share with the masses. But I truly believe you have something to offer, which only you can do. And for you to make that impact, you have to shine. So, during the busyness of your days, remember that your real job is to nurture your gifts. Take the time to explore the talents you were given, and develop your skills. Do this and you’ll be ready to share your light with those who need it most.

Take a Moment

During this season, take a moment to appreciate who you are, how far you’ve come, and what you can offer. Recognize the love you are blessed to share, and understand that your light shines for those around you. Nurture your own light, so that you’ll shine bright!
