Turn your dreams into a plan! 12 Months of Abundance

Don’t call it a dream, call it a plan.
~ Napoleon Hill

12 Months of Abundance

Like you, I have big dreams. And while many of my dreams aren’t yet fully realized, I’ve already manifested elements of my dream from the work I’ve produced on this blog. In that vein, one of my dreams is to create a product that offers you, dear reader, something useful that will inspire you and help you realize your own dreams, while also providing revenue for me. But without a plan, I won’t make that happen.

New planner project and series

Although I’ve never created a printable planner before, it is in my wheelhouse. But the planner market is saturated. I’ve never been happy with the generic look of planners, so I’ve talked myself out of this particular project more times than I can count. But, for whatever reason, it won’t leave me alone. So rather than eat the elephant in one bite, I’ve decided to incorporate it into my blog. In addition to a monthly inspirational printable, I’ve decided to offer a themed worksheet/planner page for each month of the year. I thought it would also be fun to offer my subscribers the monthly cover page as a digital desktop wallpaper.

While I build my ’12 Months of Abundance’ planner and work through the project, the planner pages are free to my subscribers, so be sure to sign up for exclusive access. And if you aren’t a planner person, the 8.5×11 size also works great for prints. If none of that interests you, you can still download the free 5×7 print by clicking the button below.

Now that I’ve covered some of my motivation for this project, read on for a bit of insight as to why calling it a plan instead of a dream will help you make those dreams come true!

Turn your dreams into a plan 12 Months of Abundance

Few goals are reached without a plan

Dreams can help get you excited about your future. When dreaming, your mind becomes a vision board that helps create images of how your life will look when you achieve your goals. Reach inward as much as you can with your thoughts and daydreaming visions, but don’t stop there! Use those positive visions to create your plans and fuel your goals.

Create a plan

Life doesn’t automatically give us a plan for the future when we’re born. Without a plan you might get lucky and still see some success, but you’re more likely to do it sooner and without as many obstacles, if you have a plan in place. Creating a plan can help you break your big goals into manageable, actionable steps. Creating a plan can also be incredibly motivating. You’ll work harder to succeed because you now have a guide to accomplish your goals.

Stay focused

It’s easy to lose focus when you’re just going through the motions and living on auto-pilot. Having a plan helps to give you a sense of direction, which in turn focuses the mind. By setting goals and creating a plan for how to work towards those goals, you’re thinking about what you want from life. Instead of just doing what everyone else wants you to do, you’ll be acting more upon what you want. Most goals are achievable if we stay focused and take the necessary steps to attain them.

Take the first step

Finally, don’t let fear stop you. Make a plan, then take the first step. Make it so easy that you can’t avoid it. As you get going, the momentum will give you the confidence and desire to keep going.
