Celebrate Independence Day with a free patriotic bunting

Happy Independence Day!

Hey ‘merica! It’s our birthday and time to party! Independence Day is a fun holiday here in the U.S. Whether it’s a parade and local festival, a picnic or a BBQ, we do love to celebrate. And the highlight of every 4th of July celebration is, of course, fireworks!

Let’s watch the fireworks

My favorite way to view the local fireworks display is to watch them go off directly overhead. Bang, boom, and a shower of sparkles! So much fun and so pretty silhouetted against the night sky. There’s nothing quite like it.

Decorate for the holiday

It’s fun to celebrate the holiday with colorful decorations. Red, white, and blue decor is perfect for the holiday, and flags, garland, and sparklers all add a festive touch. And to help you set a patriotic party mood, I’ve created a colorful fireworks-themed printable bunting.

Fun ways to use bunting

There are lots of creative ways to use your free Independence Day printable bunting. Although white paper will look great, you could print the sheet out on a pastel cardstock paper for variety. Each individual square could be put in a mini frame for fun decor anywhere. And they’ll make colorful gift cards attached to a treat for friends or coworkers, or as a place card at your next BBQ. You can also trim the squares into different shapes. Cut the edges in a zig zag or create a half-round shape at the bottom for a cute variation. Run out two or three sheets to make all the garland you need.
