Farm fresh goodness

The season has just flown by! I love garden posts and usually do at least a couple every summer. However, this year I’ve been busy with my 12 Months of Abundance series, and didn’t focus on writing any garden posts. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been enjoying all the freshness of the season. And what better way to do that than by supporting local farmers! Your local grower is producing fresh fruits and veggies right in your own community. So, whether you’re getting your produce at a local market or stand, by CSA, or some other way (hello friendly zucchini dash and drop neighbor 😀 ), supporting locally grown food is better for the economy and for you.

Support local farmers

Locally grown food is just better. Obviously it will be fresher, and studies show that eating food grown close to where you live provides more nutrients, thus better health, than produce grown in some far off region. So, to celebrate our locally grown food and local growers, I’ve created a fun printable that you can display to show support for your local farmer.
